Positano has several beaches (the beaches of the Amalfi coast are not of fine white sand but of characteristic pebbles of stone surrounded by the sea, beautiful to see, wonderfully hot to lie on without the sand filling the costume, but challenging for the plants of feet!)

La Torre is 3 min walk from the large beach and Fornillo beach, exactly halfway between the two.

The large beach of Positano where there is a small and crowded zone of free beach, another small area where there are sunbeds and umbrellas reserved for the inhabitants of Positano and then the rest of the beach is managed by a single bathing establishment (L ' Incanto) for a fee, where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas ,. In addition to bathrooms and showers there is a bar, a restaurant and a Coctail bar for the evening.

At the end of the beach there is a separate part of the establishment which is all on the cliff where children cannot enter: La Scogliera Beach Club.
And in a quieter corner you can always book by contacting L'Incanto exclusive seats (even in the price) more comfortable and isolated.

The Fornillo Beach is a little less crowded than the large beach and there are, in addition to a part of the free beach, several smaller, family-run bathing establishments that offer baths, showers and bar-restaurant, as well as sunbeds and umbrellas.

There are also two beaches that can be reached practically only by sea just a few minutes away from the pier of Positano and for which the bathing establishments / restaurants have a connection service by boat that leaves from the pier of Positano:
